Teachings of the Ascended Masters of East and West
The Summit Lighthouse is an internationally recognized spiritual center for the advancement of inner awakening. Our international organization is a global family that is inspired, guided, and sponsored by those known as the ascended masters.
The ascended masters are the most beloved and trusted transcendent beings guiding our planet’s material and spiritual evolution. Most of the world’s religions are currently based on the revelations of one or more of these masters before their ascension. We openly embrace spiritual seekers from all paths of Light including the mystical traditions of the world’s religions.
The ascended masters and their messengers have given us over fifteen thousand hours of invaluable inner wisdom and insightful instruction, and they have provided the means for our direct initiation into higher consciousness.
For the ascended masters no subject is off limits! Their teachings contain amazing truths and awesome answers on spirituality, alchemy, astrology, sacred geometry, spiritual science, karma, reincarnation, ascension, archangels (and fallen angels), and even those issues that are considered taboo or “out of this world.”
Primary Goals of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters
The ascended masters challenge us daily to be bold, to dare to be who we truly are, and to face adversity with courage, patience, perseverance, honesty, integrity, inner love, discipline, and discernment—all for a greater sense of inner peace, fearlessness, stillness and silence, harmony, self-mastery, compassion, and wisdom.
These teachings help our souls get back to the origin of their individualized inner source of True Self Love—the Higher Self, or I AM Presence". Our point of contact with our Higher Self is the “Spark of Life” or “Sacred Fire of the Heart,” the place where our consciousness expresses its true divine nature of unconditional love and happiness, universal oneness, and an authentic desire to serve others.
How Our Teachings Came into Being
Our teachings were all released through highly trained and trusted messengers, Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Mark was contacted by the Ascended Master El Morya at the age of eighteen and received training from him for many years before he was instructed to establish The Summit Lighthouse in 1958 in Washington D.C.
With his ascension in 1973, Mark passed the torch for the mission to his gifted wife, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, who continued her service until her retirement in 1999.
The dictations of the ascended masters were regularly given in public. The ascended masters also inspired thousands of lectures delivered by the messengers. The content of the dictations are, by most human standards, beyond the mind’s ability to construct in real time. They carry very powerful frequencies of light, awakening us to the highest truths we’ve ever experienced.

Moving Toward Your Victory
No matter what path of light you are on, spiritual freedom is attained using tools that have been passed down in wisdom teachings through the millennia: meditation, selfless service, devotional music, prayer, mantra, and the science of the spoken Word. The masters bring an accelerated understanding of these principles, especially suited for the challenges of the modern world, including dynamic decree work and the use of the violet flame.
