Humanism, Part 1 – Who Needs God?

Humanism, Part 1 – Who Needs God?

There are many who believe that they can get through life without God, not realizing that it is God who gave them life. It is the height of cosmic irony.

Celebrating the total affirmation of man is known as humanism. It is pervasive in our culture, education, media, social institutions and politics.

Humanism is a world view, attacking every element of society. As it affirms and exalts the human, it denies God. In a broad sense, both socialism and communism are humanistic institutions.

Humanism is the force behind banning school prayer, promoting abortion ‘rights,’ passing liberal sex laws, manipulating the media, engineering radical changes in public education, and tearing apart the core fabric of family and community.

Humanism literally challenges God’s laws, in effect placing man above the law, creating a vacuum readily filled by darkness. A stark reality, yes.

But in Light there is always hope.

To learn more about the subtle and not-so-subtle dangers of putting man before God, please join us for an important examination of humanism November 14th. Look for Humanism, Part 1. Who Needs God? on The Open Door, Tuesday, at Noon MT.
